    Economics – areas of interest, basic terms. Economic laws. Market: supply and demand, equilibrium. Types of market

  2. Cost measurement in economics

    Cost measurement in economic. Accounting and opportunity costs

  3. Firm, its goals and financing

    Company, its goals and financing. Sources of financing. Investment appraisal methods: simple and discount- based. Cost of capital

  4. Creating strategy

    Creating company strategy, rules of competitiveness. Fundamentals of managerial accounting

  5. Financial markets

    Financial markets – rules of behaviour and importance for business. Types of securities. Stock exchange and its role in economy

  6. Fundamentals of macroeconomics

    Fundamentals of macroeconomics. Gross domestic product, assessment in real and nominal prices. International and intertemporal comparisons

  7. Money in economy

    Money and its functions. Monetary policy, role of central bank. Instruments of monetary policy. WIBOR and other bank rates – influence on company financial decisions

  8. Concept of legal norm
